Commissioned work

Two ways to get help

Reporting a scheme costs nothing and always will — that is the point of the Alliance. It puts a scheme on the record, and it may end up as a published report. What is paid for is a different thing entirely: your own case, worked on demand, to a deadline, with my name on the finding.

Free · always

Report a scheme

For getting a scheme on the record.

Send what you have and it goes into the intelligence pipeline. No fee, no account, no obligation.

  • Read by me, and added to the case record
  • Feeds the AAA submission system and the wider Alliance
  • May lead to a published report — no promise either way
  • Nothing identifying you is published without your say-so
  • Answered when I get to it — no deadline promised

Most people should take the free route. Pay only if somebody is waiting on a document — a solicitor, your bank’s fraud team, an exchange compliance desk, or a filing deadline. Not sure? Send the free report and I will tell you which one you need.

£125 · three working days from intake

The Reality Check

The cheapest honest answer to “is there anything here?” One address, one hop, one verdict — traceable, partly traceable, or not — across every network that address operates on. If the answer is that you should stop spending money on this, that is what the report will say, and that is the whole product. The fee comes off anything you commission afterwards within 90 days.

Before you fill anything in.
Industry-wide, tracing recovers funds in roughly zero to five percent of cases. I am not selling recovery and I never take a percentage of one. What this buys is a straight answer. Where there is something to work with, it also buys a record somebody official can act on.

TRANSMITTED: 0 BYTES — this form has no server. Everything above is assembled in your browser and stays there until you choose to send it.

Scheme name, whether the wallet is yours, and a reply address are needed before this can be sent. Everything else helps but is optional.

Nothing is payable to send that form

You do not enter a card to talk to me, and I will never ask you to pay before I have shown you there is something worth paying for.

  1. You send the intake. Free. No account, no card, no obligation.
  2. I do the work. Finding out whether an address is workable means tracing it, so I trace it. Within three working days you hear back either way.
  3. If there is nothing there, you hear that free. No invoice, nothing owed. That answer is the one most people in your position never get.
  4. If there is something, you see a redacted preview and the £125 invoice. Buy the report or walk away — you owe nothing either way. One payment. There is never a second one.
Why this way round.
I cannot tell you whether your case is workable without doing the work, so quoting first would mean guessing. I would rather carry that risk than hand you an estimate I cannot stand behind. You are never asked to pay before you know there is something to pay for.
How you can pay.
Bank transfer, against a proper invoice. Crypto if you would rather — TGBP, USDC or ETH — but never as the only option: anyone in this business who will only take crypto is telling you something about themselves. That is worth remembering well beyond this page.

If it goes further

What a Reality Check can turn into

Priced by the deliverable and bounded by depth — addresses, hops, transaction volume, endpoint — never by the hour. Networks are not a boundary: one address is searched across every network it operates on. Where an address carries more than a few hundred transfers in total, the work is re-quoted at Tier 1 before anything starts. Work beyond an agreed scope is re-quoted as a new fixed price. There is no hourly overflow rate. Reports are as long as the case requires. Scope is bounded by address and hop, never by length.

Reality Check

£125CREDITED IF YOU GO FURTHER
  • One address, one hop, every network it operates on
  • Endpoint classified: exchange, bridge, no-KYC swap or dead end
  • Signed report in plain English, with exhibits and live explorer links
  • An explicit “stop here” where that is the honest answer
3 WORKING DAYS

Where the trail reaches an exchange, or the funds are still sitting somewhere, you hear that part the same day.

How a group case is funded.
A cohort runs on a published minimum number of claimants and a published price per head. Each person pays for their own named place. If the minimum is not reached within 30 days, every payment is refunded and the case does not run. I never hold a pooled fund.

Add-on

Available now

One add-on is live today. It extends a report you already have rather than replacing it.

Add-onPriceWhat it is
Submission pack£175 Single claimant. The findings from a report you already have, restructured into the format a named authority asks for, with the exhibit index and a covering statement, in English. £175 on top of a Reality Check or Trace Report you have already paid for, or £300 for the two together from a standing start. I prepare it; you sign and submit it in your own name. It contains no evidence that is not already in your report — you are paying for the assembly, not for anything held back. I do not submit on your behalf, and I do not act as your legal representative.

Add-ons

Paying an invoice

Verify here

If you are holding an invoice from me, this is the page to check it against. I will never send a payment address in the body of an email or a message. If you receive one that way, it did not come from me — substituting a near-identical address is one of the commonest attacks in this field.

Bank transfer.
Account details are on your invoice and nowhere else.
Crypto — one address, and only this one.
0x25cf3044c9Eb44733b3B9E3F173fFDE4eB71213e Check the first ten and last eight characters against your invoice before you send anything: 0x25cf3044eB71213e. It is a Kraken deposit address, so the network is not the same for every asset — TGBP on Ethereum only; USDC and ETH on either Ethereum or Base. A mismatch is usually recoverable through Kraken support, but it can take weeks and may cost a fee, so check both the asset and the network before you confirm. Send a small test amount first if you would rather.
What I will never ask you for.
A seed phrase or recovery phrase. A wallet connection. Remote access to your screen or device. A fee to release, unlock or convert funds. A percentage of anything recovered. If someone claiming to be me asks for any of those, it is not me.

Where the line is

What I will not do

Every line below describes something the people circling collapsed schemes routinely do. If you have been approached since you lost money, you may recognise more than one of them.

Where your fee goes

Ten percent of every fee is ringfenced to fund the tooling this work is produced with — infrastructure, data feeds, analysis systems, certification and insurance.

It is a cost allocation, not a distribution. No part of any fee is paid to any third party, token holder or community member. The figure is published annually.
